Hickory Golf Tour with Special Prestwick Event (EUR Scotland)

Day 1, Friday, October 14th, 2022
-arrive into Glasgow International Airport

-group meets up for get together at pub and introductions
-overnight in Glasgow
Day 2, Saturday, October 15th
-coach transport takes group from downtown Glasgow hotel to play Irvine Golf Club in the afternoon https://www.theirvinegolfclub.co.uk
-overnight at The Gailes Hotel in Irvine https://www.gaileshotel.com or and stay at same hotel for full week.
Day 3, Sunday, October 16th
-play Kilmarnock (Barassie Links) Golf Club https://www.kbgc.co.uk
-Try and have a friendly competition between our group and Barassie members including hickories
-overnight
Day 4, Monday, October 17th
-play Prestwick St Nicholas in the morning https://www.prestwickstnicholas.com . Course that was co-founded by Old Tom Morris
-attend 12-hole hickory exhibition match at Prestwick between two well known professional golfers and past Open Championship winners TBA
-go to Red Lion Pub in Prestwick for a beer or two where Old Tom Morris enjoyed time
-overnight
Day 5, Tuesday, October 18th
– Participate in a special 2 x 12 hole golf at Prestwick including lunch in between to celebrate the 150th playing of the Open Championship https://www.prestwickgc.co.uk . The course is open to only 36 players for the day. Course will be re-routed to the way the course was played in 1860 when the original Open Championship was held
NOTE: We have already reserved two tee times with Prestwick for this limited participation event with an option to get a third tee time if interest is high enough

Day 6, Wednesday, October 19th
-play Gailes Links, 9th oldest golf club in the world https://www.gaileslinks.co.uk
-overnight
Day 7, Thursday, October 20th
-play Western Gailes Golf Club https://www.westerngailes.com
-special final night banquet dinner to celebrate the historic week TBA
Day 8, Friday, October 21st
– Depart from hotel to Glasgow Airport
AND IF INTEREST:
-extend golf trip (custom) to play at other Ayrshire courses like West Kilbride, Trump Turnberry, Dundonald Links (modern links course)
Ball park pricing per person is 2,715 UK Pounds based on 8 participants, shared rooms, twin beds.
Ball park pricing per person is 3,140 UK Pounds based on 8 participants, single room
Non-refundable deposit is $1,250 CAD per person. Participant can transfer the deposit to replacement player if necessary. If quorum is not reached then deposits will be returned.
Final balance of payment is due approximately 75 days from start of trip.

The sooner we receive commitments and deposits, the sooner we can reserve the best available tee times and accommodations. 2022 is going to be a very busy golf travel year.

– Pricing based on 8 participants. We may go to 12 golfers if enough interest
-7 nights accommodations in standard rooms, shared
-6 rounds of links golf including special 2 x 12 holes Prestwick day
-Comfortable mini-coach transportation provided starting on Day 2

-lunch at Prestwick between rounds of 12 holes
-access to watch Exhibition hickory match from two well known professionals TBA at Prestwick
-final night banquet dinner TBA
