Andrew Von Lossow, the 2021 U.S. Hickory Open champion has always been a very good golfer, hickories or no. And we know him for his stellar play in both the USHO and several events around the U.S. Northwest where he, and his father, Jim, are members of the Northwest Hickory Players.
But at this year’s U.S. Amateur, Von Lossow is making early news in the round of 64, defeating the No. 2 seed by a 3 and 2 score. The matches are being held at the Ridgewood CC in Paramus, N.J.
