2024 Oddball Featherball Tournament
April 19 - April 20
Dear Hickory Friends,
We are looking forward to seeing you at the 2024 Oddball for two full days of feathery golf, April 19–20, 2024.
Friday, April 19
18 holes of feathery golf (front and back nine)
Hillcrest Golf Center, 1829 Washington Road, Washington, IL
$20, payable at the clubhouse. Carts @$20. Please let us know in advance if you want a cart.
10 a.m. – We will begin gathering on the far right side of the driving range. You can test drive new clubs and balls, trade/swap with friends, fellowship, and partake in brunch treats.
Noon: Photos on the first tee, followed by the traditional toast.
1 p.m. – Tee times start. We will play the front and back nines this time, again on a specially designed feathery course. Old Maw’s cart will be on the course to keep you fed and watered.
Evening, time TBD: Dinner at Brickhouse BBQ, 1021 N. Cummings, Washington (next door to Sleep Inn). If weather permits, we will reserve the patio.
Saturday, April 20
18 holes of featherie golf (front and back nine)

8 a.m. – Begin gathering at the first tee. Breakfast snacks will be available. Old Maw will be on the course with refreshments.
9 a.m. – Tee times start. We’ll follow the same course used on Friday.

EVENT FEE If you are playing one or both days, the event fee is $30, also payable at the clubhouse; cash would be appreciated.

EQUIPMENT If you already have feather balls, please bring them. If not, a new ball will be provided. We will also have some shared bags of clubs at the ready. Please let us know if you need anything in particular.
KELLY LEONARD CLUBS AVAILABLE Kelly Leonard will be on hand with plenty of clubs available at very attractive event prices. Please let Kelly know in advance if you are looking for a specific club (klhickory.com).
LODGING We’ve reserved a block of rooms for Friday night at the nearby Sleep Inn, 1101 Cummings Lane, Washington).

Lodging is also available several miles from the course at The Cornerstone Inn, on the square in Washington. Reviews are excellent for this bed and breakfast.
