Pedersen takes Kohler Hickory Challenge title on first trip to course

The Kohler golf courses always create an interesting challenge for a hickory golfer. While extremely fair, the courses can be very challenging and unforgiving of the slightest of misses. This year was no different. Congratulations to all the winners of the 2024 Kohler Hickory Challenge.

Our champion this year was Bill Pedersen (172), winning on his first trip to Kohler. The first net champion was Rob Kress.

In the Senior Division our champion was Chris Cayemberg (180). In the New-to-Hickory category, and the first net as well, was Brian Stephens, also making his first trip to Kohler.

In the Legends division we had two familiar names: Dr. Dave Brown (183) was our champion, and David Boyd was the first net winner.

In our Ladies division, Bailey Wiegandt was our Champion with an impressive two-day score of 181.

It was a wonderful week of weather and many new friendships were started. Special thanks to Will Jacoby from Steurer and Jacoby for some wonderful tee gifts.  It is always a great way to kick off a new season of hickory golf in Wisconsin.
