Christian Juel reports that more than 20 contestants entered for the title of 2018 Danish Hickory Champion. The day’s weather was a little overcast and damp, but spirits were anything but damp. The honor was won by Dennis Willadsen, or the Ikast Golf Club in Denmark. Willadsen was also a member of the European Freedman Trophy team that was victorious in its matches over the North American team earlier in May 2018.
