This is the 10th year of the Monterey Hickory Classic, held at the popular Del Monte Golf Course and Pacific Grove golf links. We will be hosting this event early weekdays rather than weekends.  The majority of us are old farts, retired, and frankly every day is a weekend! Or at least it should be. Hotels in the Monterey area can be as much as half the price Sunday through Thursday and have vacancy. The golf courses are much less expensive and less impacted/available as well. Seems like a no-brainer.  For future reference, this event will be held on the last Monday or Tuesday of October, or close to.

Pacific Grove will cost $49 to walk, with carts available separately. Del Monte is $54, which includes a cart. You will pay your green fees in the pro shops.  Monterey Pines, which is owned by the Navy, will give veterans or active military personnel a discount.

A $20 tournament fee will cover our awards, closest to pins, and our fun gross/net skin game tradition! All to be collected the day of the event.
