2023 World Hickory Open Championship
October 9, 2023 - October 12, 2023
Organizers of the World Hickory Open Championship are planning a robust schedule for 2023. The event will be played over four courses in Ayrshire, Scotland. Registration and a Welcome Reception will take place in the Lochgreen Hotel on Sunday, Oct. 8. Registration will be from Noon onwards and the Welcome Reception will commence at 4 p.m. including welcome drink and canapes.
Registration has been extended to March 31, 2023.
Oct. 9 – Archie Baird Trophy to be played for over the Dundonald Links Golf Course.
This event is a four-person team event with two better ball scores to count, one from each pair.
Best Gross and Runner Up gross, Amateur Longest Drive, Amateur Nearest the Pin
Oct. 10-12 – the World Hickory Open field will be split into three groups with each group playing over Prestwick Golf Club, Western Gailes and Kilmarnock Barassie, three of Ayrshires finest links courses over the three days.
