2024 Heart of America Hickory Championship
July 12 - July 14
The Heart of America is the oldest continuously held hickory tournament in the world. This year’s event marks the 47th anniversary of the tournament. Originated in 1978 by GCS president and Iowa resident Warren “Ole” Olsen, the players in this long-standing tournament are a literal “who’s who” in the playing of modern hickory golf and traditions. The only practice facility at Grandview is a putting green.
Schedule of Events
Friday, July 12 – Early registration and practice rounds.
Reception and dinner in the evening as well as a modest trade show.
Saturday, July 13 – Registration and competition.
Tourney reception and dinner at Grandview clubhouse.
Free trade tables and an alcohol cash bar will be available.
Sunday, July 14 –Shotgun start for all divisions.
Awards and Plaudits after completion of golf and pizza/salad buffet for all.
