2025 will mark the 13th annual Arizona Desert Hickory classic. We’ll meet again on the Pebblebrook and Grandview golf courses in Sun City West, Ariz. This is one of the great fun events of the whole year and a perfect way to spend a few winter days for our northern friends.

We will have multiple hickory play divisions for gross and net winners. Lots of awards, fun and food! See entry form for details and enclosed agenda of events. Just ask those who have played in previous years … we have a wonderful time!

Day One: Grandview Golf Course -14260 W Meeker Blvd., Sun City West, Ariz.
Day Two: Pebblebook Golf Course – 18836 N 128th Ave., Sun City West, Ariz.

The courses, designed by Greg H. Nash, feature mountain views, rolling fairways and challenging greens.

A practice round is available on Friday, Feb. 28, on either course.

The tournament is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, March 1-2. We will use pre-1935 period and SoHG-approved equipment. The format is a two-day medal-score format (gross and net) for each of our divisions (see the information sheet). Lots of awards and plenty of fun!

If you are “New to Hickory Golf” we will have a separate division just for you! Please come and join in the fun and try the hickory golf experience. Connect with the past and have a blast! Hickory club equipment rentals will be available.
