Hickory Players,

The Wisconsin Hickory Golfers are planing something new for Kohler next year.  The event that usually occurs in May will not be happening this year.  I know, many of you will miss those brisk mornings and joyful spring walks along Lake Michigan. We are replacing it with a two-day event, scheduled for July 1-2 (much better weather, I hope).  It will consist of a 30-hole par three challenge on the Baths and an 18-hole challenge on the Irish course the following day.

This will be a Two-Person event. we’ll go around the Baths Course (par 3)  three times on the first day. Hole yardages range from 80 to 160 yards. First time around is a Best Ball, second time around is a scramble, and the third time around will be an alternate shot.  We have the Baths reserved just for our group from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., so we will not be interrupted. Day two will be a Best Ball score with tee times at the Irish course starting at 9 a.m.  Pick your partner wisely.

Cost will be $250 per player.  Includes golf, cart (on the Irish), a lunch after the Baths round and prizes.

We only have room for 44 golfers (22 teams); once that is filled you will go on a waiting list.

Looking forward to a fun hickory event with a little twist.  We will have some fun prizes and awards for the Par 3 (short game bragging rights) and Irish event.
