2025 Mike Fatke Memorial Hickory Tournament
June 19 - June 21
Hickory golfers, experienced and new, are invited to the 2025 edition of the Mike Fatke Memorial Hickory Tournament. Held at the Manistee Golf and Country Club on a bluff overlooking Lake Michigan, the tournament honors the memory of Mike Fatke, Manistee G&CC’s long-time course superintendent. Mike took impeccable care of this course that he loved so much. The tournament also benefits the Save A Buddy Fund, set up my Mike and his wife, Molly, to honor their rescue dog, Buddy, by providing financial assistance to individuals to spay or neuter their dogs or puppies.
Established in 1901, Manistee G&CC is one of the oldest and most scenic courses in the state. The traditional layout, which encompasses both links and parkland characteristics, will provide golfers a challenging yet enjoyable experience.
The format is low gross and net stroke play for men and women with Open and Senior (70+) flights. Awards for each flight will be given. Handicaps will be adjusted for those without a hickory handicap.

Thursday, June 19
Practice Round – Make your own tee arrangements. Call the pro shop at 231-723-2509.
6 p.m. – Club Swap at the club. Cooler of beer, chips, etc., will be provided. Dinner on your own.
Friday, June 20, Day One
9 a.m. – Tee times or shotgun start.
Social event to be determined.
Saturday, June 21, Day 2
9 a.m. – Start times
1 p.m. – Awards Luncheon
$30 per guest for Friday social event.
