The 2022 Southern Hickory 4-Ball was played April 21,22,23. We had great weather, warm and lots of sunshine. This year’s event was played in two formats. For the low handicap players we had the Best Ball Scratch. For the others, we played a Team Total Stableford. Highland Park Golf Course was in great shape. Greens were tough to read as usual and also running around 12. It seemed like the greens were definitely part of the winning equation.
In the Open Division, Peter Flory and Ted Kopec took the honors. Barb Kopec and her partner, event host Tad Moore, were the Team Stableford champs.
It was great to see everyone and enjoy some fine golf on a great course. Until next year!
