It was special time at the 2024 Southern 4-Ball Hickory Championship for Taylor Jones and his father, Ed. The two won the Open Division of the annual championship with a 134 total, besting runners-up Peter Flory and Ted Kopec by one stroke. Taylor, especially, was happy about the outcome as he really wanted to win the event in partnership with his father.
The tournament was held April 18-20 at the Highland Park Golf Course in Birmingham, Ala.
The 2024 STABLEFORD Division was won by another father-son team, Max and Chris Hollon, who came in 7-points ahead of second place finishers Rich Grula and Natalie Wells.
