About SoHG
For us, there’s nothing quite like the game of hickory golf. It’s our passion for the game that led to the creation of the SoHG, forming an organizing body for hickory golf. The SoHG coordinates competitions, establishes standards for play and, most importantly, brings together fans of the “royal and ancient” game from all over the globe. It’s all for a love of the game.

Membership Types & Rates
When you click the Join Now button, you will be taken to the PayPal website for payment. Once the payment is successfully processed you will receive an e-mail from the SoHG with a special link to complete your registration. When you click the link you will come to this website to create your username and password and provide additional information for your member profile. (Don’t have a PayPal account, no problem! Just click the “Pay with Debit or Credit Card” button at the bottom of the page.)
Note: The initial membership fee is $65 plus a small processing fee.

The annual renewal membership fee is only $50 plus processing fee.
10-Year Membership
The ten-year membership fee is $450 plus a small processing fee.

We offer Junior Memberships for $15 plus processing fee. (21 & younger)
