The Beatrice Country Club has been around for 101 years, and has hosted The Homesteader, an annual men’s amateur stroke play event, for almost every one of those years. Annually, we bring about some of the best amateur players in the state of Nebraska and surrounding states,” says organizer Seth Ray. “The hickory division is always a treat for all due to the complexity of the game today, and the simplicity in which the division plays the game.
