The Indiana Hickory Open was played Oct. 8-10 at Cambridge Golf Course in Evansville. Twenty-four players from six different states competed during the three-day event. The weather was unusually warm for October in southern Indiana, but rain on Thursday and Friday nights made the course very wet for the first two days.
The first day was a shamble format with scoring done on the Stableford scoring system. The winners this year were the team of David Cotton, Gary Oldham and David Lipa with 80 points.
